Masjid Al-Salam

Location: Bali, Indonesia

Capacity: 150 worshippers

Status: Complete

  • In a remote village in Bali, a community of 500 Muslims waited eight years for their masjid to be completed — the construction started but remained unfinished, leaving an incomplete structure.

Legacy 99 subsequently took on the responsibility to provide the people here with a fully equipped worship space.

The mosques members have also declared their intention to include a free madrasah where underprivileged children can study Islam and memorise the Quran.

  • Requirements included:

    • Capacity of 150 worshippers

    • Wudu Area

    • Sound System

    • Budget: £14,300

  • In 2025, we successfully funded the construction of the mosque to serve the community. God-willing, its impact will be profound and far-reaching:

    • Worship: A dedicated prayer space for 150 worshippers, with a growing congregation.

    • Education: A dual-central location for Quran and Islamic studies for children and adults.

    • Support: Functioning as a centre for charitable efforts, food distribution, and social welfare for struggling families.

    • Ongoing Reward (Sadaqah Jariyah): Donors will be rewarded (hasanat) for every prayer, lesson and act of worship at the mosque.

  • Alhamdulillah, this is 5 of 99 mosques which is now complete.
