Masjid Al-Rahman
Masjid Al-Rahman was built for a community of several hundred Muslim families in Ghana, surrounded by a predominantly Christian population. Before this project, the absence of a proper masjid made daily worship, Jumu’ah, Islamic learning and community gatherings difficult. The completed mosque now gives families a permanent place to pray, learn and stay connected.

Project background
In a community of several hundred Muslim families surrounded by a predominantly Christian population, the absence of a mosque posed a major challenge. The long distance to the nearest mosque made it difficult to observe daily congregational prayers and Friday prayers, while the lack of a central place for Islamic learning left families without essential religious guidance.
