Many Muslim families in this area of Tanzania were in need of a fully equipped mosque to serve as a foundation for their religious and communal life. In addition to providing a dignified space for worship, the mosque would act as a centre for Islamic education, community, and charitable activity. It would also enable the organised collection and distribution of charity, ensuring support reaches those in need while strengthening compassion, responsibility, and care within the community.

In 2025, we successfully funded the construction of a mosque and a much-needed water well to serve the community. God-willing, its impact will be profound and far-reaching:
Worship: A dedicated prayer space for 125 worshippers, with a growing congregation.
Education: A central location for Quran and Islamic studies for children and adults.
Support: Functioning as a centre for charitable efforts, food distribution, and social welfare for struggling families.
Ongoing Reward (Sadaqah Jariyah): Donors will be rewarded (hasanat) for every prayer, lesson and act of worship at the mosque.

Alhamdulillah, this is 2 of 99 mosques which is now complete.
