Project background
Roruks is a predominantly Muslim community in Sierra Leone. The community's previous mosque was in a severely dilapidated condition, posing significant safety risks to worshippers. Due to its poor structural state, many residents were unable to attend congregational prayers and were instead compelled to pray at home.
