Masjid Al-Mumin

Location: Bali, Indonesia

Capacity: 150 worshippers

Water Well: No

Status: Proposal Pending

  • In a remote village in Bali, a small and impoverished Muslim community has been waiting for eight years to see their dream of a proper masjid come to life. What was once the hopeful start of a sacred space now stands abandoned and incomplete, overrun with weeds and time. For the 500 Muslims in the area, this unfinished structure symbolizes years of unfulfilled hopes for a place to gather, pray, and grow spiritually.

A masjid is far more than a building—it is the heart of a community, offering space for worship, religious learning, and unity. This masjid is especially vital as it is planned to serve not only as a place of prayer but also as a free madrasah where underprivileged children can learn about Islam and memorize the Qur'an.

  • Requirements include:

    • Capacity of 150 worshippers

    • Wudu Area

    • Sound System

    • Budget: £14,000

  • God-willing, its impact will be profound and far-reaching:

    • Worship: A dedicated prayer space for 150 worshippers, with a growing congregation.

    • Education: A dual-central location for Quran and Islamic studies for children and adults.

    • Support: Functioning as a centre for charitable efforts, food distribution, and social welfare for struggling families.

    • Ongoing Reward (Sadaqah Jariyah): Donors will be rewarded (hasanat) for every prayer, lesson and act of worship at the mosque.

  • This will be 6 of 99 mosques, God-willing.
