Uluumul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School currently has no dedicated mosque. With 153 students across junior and senior high school levels, congregational prayers and Qur'anic learning are held in a shared multipurpose hall also used for academic activities — with male and female students occupying the space simultaneously. This creates significant constraints on space, comfort, and the quality of religious life within the school.

As student enrolment continues to grow, the existing arrangement is no longer sustainable. The absence of a proper prayer facility limits the effectiveness of spiritual and religious programming, and undermines the school's ability to provide a dignified environment for worship and Islamic education.

The construction of a dedicated mosque has become an urgent priority. Beyond serving the school's students, the mosque is intended to become a spiritual anchor for the wider community — supporting worship, character development, and the nurturing of future generations grounded in Islamic values.

Requirements include:

• Spacious prayer hall suitable for the entire village

• Dedicated wudu (ablution) facilities

• Secure doors and windows

• PVC roofing and durable flooring

• Waterproofing, plastering, and interior/exterior finishing

• Electrical wiring and prayer carpets

• Space for Qur’anic and Islamic education for children

The Patani Village Masjid will:

• Provide a safe and clean environment for daily and Friday prayers

• Enable Qur’anic and Islamic education for local children

• Strengthen community unity and faith in a war-affected rural area

• Support returning families by restoring a central place of worship

• Create lasting sadaqah jariyah for donors through every prayer and lesson held in the masjid

The masjid will serve as a spiritual and educational cornerstone for the entire village, promoting moral development and social harmony
